Spring is in the air, and it make us think of pastel palettes, fresh flowers and, of course, weddings. This wedding is an oldy, but a goody. When we met Shana + Rob, we knew this was going to be an amazing event. Shana is our favorite type of client-- one who knows exactly what she wants and has a graceful way of conveying that to all of her partners. This wedding was elegant without being uptight, dramatic without being over the top, and man-- did it ooze personality.
As the venue, Mason Murer Fine Art fit Shana + Rob's wedding like a glove, fusing a funky urban modern vibe with an artistic elegance and charm. The exquisite chuppah and florals designed by Susan and Steve over at the Bold American decor team. And the absolutely stellar photography by Our Labor of Love keeps us looking at these images, time and time again.
The small details of this wedding are some of our favorites, hello-- did you see those adorable cake toppers?!? And the custom paper products + great graphics were done by Erin Dangar of Dangar Design. But the cherry on top of this super sweet wedding was the bridesmaids' performance of "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Everyone went wild and we won't soon forget their well rehearsed routine. Their menu was a southern sophisticated dream featuring low county shrimp and grits, Alison's famous meatloaf sliders, coca-cola glazed ham and house-made biscuits. YUM! Shana + Rob's big day was the combination of creativity and class, wrapped up into one of our favorite weddings EVER! Though the happy couple doesn't live in Atlanta, we've recently reconnected with Shana's parents for her mother's birthday party. We just love it when things come back around like that.
Cheers,
SIMB
