Our Studio1658 vendors are above and beyond amazing to work with, and teaming up with Amy Osaba and her group of gals is always a dream! Besides always being a joy to collaborate with, AO also crushes the floral design game, as if you weren't already aware. For instance, Shanna and Amy's chuppa for Callen + Danny, one of the best we've ever seen! To top it off, add rentals from Blue Eyed Yonder and Goodwin Rentals, and you've got yourself an absolute picturesque set up. These are to go-to companies to go for when it comes to rentals, BEY has every aspect of vintage, one-of-a-kind, and sentimental pieces, while Goodwin Rentals covers everything from tents, to rustic tables, lighting and more. Both are Studio1658 vendors and the combination of the two makes for the most unbelievable furnished wedding.
Callen, along with a few members of her immediate family, has food allergies that were of the upmost priority when it came to selecting a menu, which was no problem for our team. During cocktail hour guests noshed on seared crab cakes with ancho chili aoili, fried green tomatoes with spicy pimento cheese, and Alison's famous deviled eggs with candied bacon. Their large buffet dinner menu featured a trio of entrees, including horseradish encrusted salmon with season chutney, wild mushroom ravioli + truffled mushrooms + brown butter sauce, and pepper seared filet of beef with a burgundy demi glaze. Roasted sweet corn + zucchini in thyme butter, garlic + shallot sauteed haricot vert with grape tomatoes + toasted pine nuts, and roasted fingerling potatoes with truffled mushrooms were served up as sides. Callen + Danny skipped the traditional cake and went with a dessert bar featuring homemade chocolate chip cookies with chilled milk shots, red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing, lavender lemon tarts, and local apple tarts with a cinnamon crust. Is your mouth watering yet?
A huge congratulations to this beautiful couple and an even bigger thanks for setting up such an unstoppable team of creative folks to make your wedding a dream come true.
Cheers,
