made with love-- kelly + drew

On the heels of Valentine's day love is still wafting in the air, and we can't help but to feel a little giddy with all that romance floating around. Especially when we are featuring one of our favorite weddings from 2011. A cheerful color palette, a southern quirky charm, and a dream team of vendors came together for Kelly + Drew's wedding, and made us feel like we'd been struck by cupid's arrow.

Everything about Kelly + Drew's day was beautiful, creative and delicious, and we feel pleased as punch to have been a part of their dream day.  From the bright ribbon background of their ceremony, to the huge balloons floating throughout the gardens,  Kelly + Drew's wedding found the perfect balance between playful and romantic-- the best of both worlds!
Of course, this sweet-as-pecan-pie couple pulled together an amazing team of vendors who are always a pleasure to work beside. First, Amy Osaba + her team deserve a huge round of applause for the phenomenal florals and event decor. Of course, Ashley Baber, wedding planner extraordinaire, was there to make sure all of the details of the day were perfect. Cator Woolford Gardens provided the gorgeous backdrop for this one-of-a-kind wedding , and we can't forget about Scott Chester who captured every unforgettable moment. Our hearts are a flutter.

Months later, we just can't stop gushing about this wedding! If you are day dreaming about Kelly + Drew's wedding too, you can find even more photos on 100 layer cake, Amy Osaba's blog or W. Scott Chester's blog.
Cheers,
SIMB

The funds raised on this evening help ensure that AAR can continue to rescue more helpless pets in the Atlanta area. Tickets are on sale for $45 bucks, and include a yappy hour with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet dinner, an open bar, live music and a silent auction. Please join us for a night of fun while celebrating an awesome cause. Our tails are already wagging.
Plus, this Saturday we'll be taking part in two exciting events. First, Valentine's in the Garden at Atlanta Botanical Garden. We'll be featuring some of our delicious and decadent desserts, the perfect sweets for you and your sweetie, and gorgeous florals by the amazing Amy Osaba. From gooey valrhona chocolate cakes to coconut + lime petit fours with passion fruit creme, we've got the treat for you. Come experience a romantic evening in one of our favorite places in Atlanta! For more information about Valentine's in the Garden and to purchase tickets can be found on Atlanta Botanical Garden's website.
And who could forget about the Art Papers 13th Annual Art Auction at Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery!?! We're uber-excited to take place in this year's auction as a sponsor and will be dishing out some scrumptious grub, including southwestern bolognese served over cumin spiced couscous, finished with a cinnamon + cardamom crème fraiche. It's okay if you're drooling a little. You can find out all the details, bid on auction items, and buy tickets here.
Of course, we'll be serving up our meant to be Valentine's menu which you won't want to miss out on.
