Our lovely community of creative souls, wrangled by the fabulous CAMP counselors, met this summer at our neighborhood cafe for an evening of noshing, sipping and inspiring. Growing and harvesting relationships, both professionally and personally, is one of the main missions of CAMP, and Summer Supper was the perfect way to make new friends, swap some stories, and remind ourselves that it is not only what we do, but who we do it with, that makes our jobs so worthwhile.
We served up drinks to celebrate the summer season; a white sangria with local peaches and sparkling water with fresh watermelon and cucumber. On the menu we featured a zucchini + mint gazpacho, a bresaola bruschetta with cantaloupe + fennel + balsamic slaw, and grape tomato + goat cheese tartlets with oregano oil. For dessert, our CAMP goers enjoyed coconut + yogurt panna cotta with roasted nectaries + pistachios and picked up s'mores kits to-go!
Such a wonderful night, and a great memory from this summer, and a great big thanks to Ali Harper for capturing every lush detail. We can't wait to see the harvest that fall will result in, and don't forget to keep up with the current workshops and events CAMP will be hosting soon.
